Apricot

Apricot was originally called Prunusarmeniaca because the Romans introduce it into Europe from the Far East via Armenia. The fruit is juicy, firm with deliciously sweet flavour. Apricots are truly delightful fruits, which originated in the temperate areas of Africa and Asia, and despite not being very sensitive to cold, need to be grown in temperate climates.
