White Garlic

It is a perennial plant with thin, flat leaves, up to 30 cm in length. Roots easily reach depths of 50 cm or more. The bulb, white or purple peel, forms a head divided into segments which are commonly called cloves. Each head may contain from 6 to 12 cloves, each of which is covered in a thin layer of white or reddish colour.
